Fan Art
The Subwoolfer community has many great artists, working across a multitude of platforms, both digitally and in the more traditional style of pencil and paper.
But we know that not all artists use a pencil or a digital tablet: there are many kinds of artists... those who can write, those who can bake, those who sew and craft, those who capture special photographs and those who can sing or dance... You can meet some of them below.
If you want your fan art to be published here please send us an email of your artwork, and we will contact you as soon as possible.
To celebrate the contribution by artists to our community, we host a weekly (sometimes fortnightly) contest based on a different topic or style. The weekly theme and rules are published in the forum. So sharpen your pencils, warm up your vocal chords, thread your needles and turn on your ovens... because here we go. Time to bring out the wolf in you, Subcubs.
Eclipse
Hello! I'm Elena from Spain, but people usually call me Eclipse since that's my Subcub alias. I've been studying arts my whole life and now making drawings and illustrations is my way of showing love. My objective right now is to learn as much as possible to become a professional concept artist, and doing fan arts is a great way to practice! I've been following Subwoolfer since their appearance in Eurovision, but I began to consider myself a Subcub in september 2022, when they did 2 concerts in Madrid and I fell in love. Now their music is part of my life, so being mentioned in this subcub project is such a great honor. Thanks for letting me be part of it!
Eclipse Subcub is a nomadic wolf who travels everywhere following the music. When she saw that the moon superstars Subwoolfer were doing very well on Earth, she tried to come too, but her spaceship crashed in the middle of Spain. Since then, she has walked the streets with the goal of learning more music and hoping to meet the other space wolves in the world.
Imidio
Hi, I’m Imidio and I draw stuff! I’m a self-taught digital artist since 2018 but I did draw traditionally before, mostly with colour pencils. I started to learn how to draw more seriously because I wanted to be able to portray my Dungeons and Dragons character. My drawings are mostly done in freehand, painterly style, kind of definition of “trust the process” approach – ant the process itself can be very chaotic. I’m still searching and experimenting a lot with different possibilities to find out what works best for me.
Subwoolfer fanarts were actually my first try in working with lineart and more cute, chibi-like art style, so they definitely wasn’t ideal in the beginning. I was very inspired by other amazing artists in the community and it’s thanks to them that I was able to finally find the way of creating those fanarts that I’m happy with.
Kishy
“ Ello Ello! I’m Kishy Heartz and I’m a crazy woman from the United Kingdom who does Banana Wolf Art. I am a self taught artist, who is currently studying Architecture and Planning at University. I am quite diverse in my mediums for my art ranging from: Digital Art mostly, Traditional, Watercolour, Marker Pens, Pencils and all that jazz. I am a gamer also who enjoys herself a bit of Five Nights at Freddy’s for one game in particular. I’ve been following Subwoolfer since May just after EuroVision Ended and I’m glad I stayed and watched the music video otherwise well I wouldn’t be doing this! To be in this fandom means the absolute world to me and I have met so many amazing people along the way and will continue to for as long as I am here for. Thank you Subcubs for being awesome!
Luna Ferrari/ Loona Dior:
Surprisingly, one of the artworks which got me a lot of likes was my first attempt at my own character, which was named that day as Luna Ferrari by Subwoolfer then later changing to Loona Dior as we don’t need two Lunas! I got so inspired I actually made a cosplay of her because you all showed her so much love. I’m so honoured that my one drawing which wasn’t even supposed to mean anything, something of which was to get my mind clear of my bad day hence the name ‘distractions’ would get her to where she is now, being loved as she’s apart of this story; apart of their world.
Soraya H.
Hello! My name is Soraya. I'm from Burgos (Spain). I am 30 years old. I practice horse riding. My favorite music is pop, some rock. But this year something changed when I saw in the Eurovision's semifinals a wonderful, spectacular, funny group.... Thanks to them I became a fan. I started to take edited photos, something I had never done before. Here I share with you some of my work that I have done with a lot of affection.
They came from the moon to make us happier and enjoy their wonderful music. I admire them. Thanks for giving me a space in this project and be in this wonderful world of the Subwoolfer Fandom.
Subflowery
I am from Norway and I am in my late 40's. I love art and in my professional work I work with digital ads and commercials. My hobbies are digital art, painting, songwriting. I call myself a late bloomer when it comes to my hobbies and dreams. I have for a long time focused on career and family that has been a cause of forgetting myself a little. To be in the fandom of Eurovision and Subwoolfer has been an adventure. It has been a small plattform for me to experiment with music and art
The good thing with that is nobody know who I really am. There is noone around me in close environment who can judge and I can be silly and have fun with the things I do. With that said being in the Subwoolfer fandom has taught me one thing. It's ok to be yourself and be proud of what you do. Be playful and have fun. Does it matter what other thinks?
I also adore the team behind and in Subwoolfer. Great music, awesome artists and they give a lot to us regards music, lore, diversity and love. They also give us some life lessons through very deep sayings and comments :p. Hence I am happy to give something back :) That is why I joined this project when I was asked.
