Hvem er Subwoolfer?
Subwoolferer et band dannet av Keith, Jim og DJ Astronaut. De er det største og beste bandet i vår galakse. Trioen har vært aktiv i 4,5 milliarder år, og de tiltrekker seg stadig nye mennesker med sine vakre stemmer og sanger.
Deres første liveopptreden var i den 4. semifinalen i Melodi Grand Prix 5. februar 2022 med sangen deres "Give That Wolf A Banana". De deltar også i finalen 19. februar hvor de vant konkurransen. Deretter representerte de Norge på Eurovisions sangfestival 2022. «Give That Wolf A Banana» nådde topp 10 i Eurovisions finale.
De bor for tiden i The Moon, der oppe har de brukt tiden sin på å lage nye fantastiske sanger, glede sine enorme mengder fans og nyte litt tid med jordboer når de besøker jorden. I dette nøyaktige øyeblikket , de milde ulvene har oppnådd rundt 550.000 fans på TikTok, og oppdra.

Gaute Ormåsen
Gaute Ormåsen – who revealed himself as Jim from Subwoolfer – is a well-known Norwegian singer and songwriter. With his shy and sincere character he has won the hearts of many fans.
Gaute was born on 20th April 1983 in Brumunddal, Hedmark (Norway). His career started in 2003, when he was a finalist on the TV show ‘Idol’. There, he was offered a contract by the record label BMG, reaching the top of the Norwegian music charts. He had a supporting role in the TV series Hotel Caesar. In 2008 he participated in the dance show ‘Skal vi danse’ (Let’s dance), shown on TV2.
In 2010 Gaute entered Melodi Grand Prix (MGP), the Norwegian pre-selection competition for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), with ‘Synk eller svøm’ (Sink or Swim), in which he reached the second round. In 2013 he participated in MGP again, this time with ‘Awake’, a song that reached the final.
A remix of Ormåsen's song ‘Kjærlighet er mer en forelskelse’ (Love is more than a Crush) was released in December 2016, entering the Norwegian music charts in 2017. In the same year, he participated in the Norsk Rikskringkasting (NRK) music program ‘Stjernekamp’.
He has performed at many well-known Norwegian festivals, such as Allsang på Grensen and the Norway Cup.
Gaute has also composed songs for children, hitting several charts in different countries and has collaborated with other great musicians such as Alan Walker and Alexander Rybak.
He has released seven studio albums. His single ‘Chasing Rainbows’ reached number 1 in the Norwegian charts. Since then he has released numerous singles, the most recent in 2022: ‘Sommartider’ (Summertime).
From 2019 until present day, Gaute has been a member of the popular, and well received, annual Christmas tour group Vår Jul.
In 2023 he entered MGP as a composer for Maria Celin’s song ‘Freya’.
In 2022 he started a crazy adventure with Ben Adams and Carl-Henrik Wahl with their song ‘Give That Wolf A Banana’. Gaute and Ben performed at MGP as Subwoolfer’s Jim and Keith, winning the competition and representing Norway at Eurovision. They reached tenth place being one of the acts with the most votes from the public.

Ben Adams
Benjamin Edward Stephen Adams, better known as Ben Adams, is a singer, songwriter and producer from Ascot, England. Performing alongside Gaute, he revealed himself to be Keith from Subwoolfer.
Ben was born November 22nd 1981. His career started in 1998 as a member of the British-Norwegian boy band a1, who won a BRIT Award in 2001 for Best Newcomer, and had two number one singles in the UK Singles Chart: 'Take On Me' and 'Same Old Brand New You'.
Ben has also pursued a solo career, signing a recording contract with BMG Records. He began writing and producing songs for other artists such as Robin Thicke, Alexandra Burke and Union J. He has his own recording studio, Archer Studios, previously known as Parkbench Studios, located in London.
In 2009, Ben was a participant on the reality TV series 'Celebrity Big Brother', reaching fifth place. From 2009 - 2017 he was involved in the pantomimes 'Cinderella' and 'Aladdin', playing in various cities across the UK. In 2012, Ben took part in 'Skal vi danse?' ('Dancing with the stars'), where he placed second with his dance partner Tone Jacobsen.
In 2010, a1 reformed to compete in MGP and went on to record two new studio albums, which Ben co-wrote and produced. In 2013, a1 participated in the British reality-documentary 'The Big Reunion', and in 2018 a1 celebrated their twentieth anniversary with an international tour.
In October 2017, Ben took the leading role in the touring version of the musical 'Flashdance'.
Together with Chris Wilkins, Ben wrote 'Eugenius!', an original musical which premiered on July 29th 2016 as a concert performance at the London Palladium. The musical received its fully staged premiere at The Other Palace from January 22th to March 3rd 2016, returning from September 1st to October 7th 2018. The show is currently in rehearsals for a reboot at the Turbine Theatre and will run from March 17th, 2023.
2016 also saw Ben release a classical piano EP titled ‘Change’.
In 2019, Ben released a duet with Morissette, called 'This is Christmas'. That year, he also released a Christmas album, 'All Wrapped Up'.
Together with Gaute Ormåsen, Ben represented Norway at the ESC in Turin as part of Subwoolfer in 2022. They performed 'Give That Wolf a Banana', which placed tenth with 182 points.
Ben is currently rehearsing the role of Galileo, the lead in the musical 'We Will Rock You', which runs for 4 performances only from March 16th to 18th 2023 at Oslo Spektrum.
